Piercing probe ends are two standard 4mm female sockets which can connect with 4mm banana test leads. Probes can easily pierce wires without damaging them.
The end of the probe is slightly recessed for more comfortable pressing. Pressing the button on the tail retracts the front test pin, at which point the cable is placed into the recess and the button is released to allow the stainless steel probe to pierce the cable for testing.
